  32. That's because ARexx is a scripting language, meaning that it isn't
  33. compiled before you can run it. Adding comments to Arexx scripts will only
  34. slow it down when it is executed.

  41. I learned ARexx on my own. I only have the AmigaDOS ARexx manual and a
  42. bunch of scripts (commented and uncommented). I started changing the
  43. scripts and learn from the failures those changes produced, as a matter of
  44. fact I learned a lot more of my own mistakes than of peeking at the codes
  45. of others. 
  46. I did have a programming background when I started to learn ARexx, at
  47. school we had to learn a little TurboPascal. But this would only cover some
  48. basic things to make my own programs to do calcultions, etc.
